Our Experience Working for You

Since 1990 Pearl Technology has been creating video memories of special moments in families' lives.  Our video experience goes back to the days of VHS, moving on to High 8, mini-DV, DVD, and now High Def Blu-Ray, mp4, and other digital formats.  We provide our clients their choice of format and delivery media.   We are privileged to have had clients come back to us for their 2nd and 3rd child's Bar/Bat Mitzvahs, and now their weddings.

Creating videos that you will enjoy viewing over and over throughout the years requires special skills and planning that are only developed through experience. 

Before the event we will review with you the event's timeline, discuss video options for shooting your event - such as rehearsals, bridal preparations, ketubah signing, scenery, ceremony, reception, how many cameras, use of on-camera and cordless mikes, recording of guest messages, dance sequences, speeches, cake cutting, and more ...  We will discuss the viewing experience:  how long the video will be, how to access specific parts of the video, use of chapter marks and menus, and editing style and preferences.   We will discuss and review at our studio multiple viewing and delivery formats:  Standard Def (SD), High Def (HD), DVD, Blu-Ray, SD-Card, mp4, Internet uploads to YouTube or other websites.

During the event the videographer will introduce himself/herself to the honored family and guests, to the photographer and to the entertainment providers, and to the function room staff - so any special requests for video shooting can be attended to.  Thereafter, the videographer will "blend" into the party, so you can enjoy your event - and won't even know that we are there.

The day after the event, we can post a short 2-minute video on a private YouTube channel so that you and your guests can see dancing highlights. 

Two-to-four weeks after the event we will have the final DVD/BluRay version ready, which we can mail to you, or you can pick-up at our studio.

Should you want additional edits or have special post-production requests, we can assist you with our a-la-carte editing services.
